MEND 2-4

MEND 2-4 integrates the three elements necessary for sustained lifestyle changes: active play, good nutrition and behaviour change. MEND gives families a foundation for lifelong health by including practical learning about healthy eating, fun games that promote active play and behaviour modification strategies. This integrated approach provides families with the foundation for feeling fit, healthy and happy for the rest of their lives.   

  • FREE, family-based healthy lifestyle program for ALL families with preschool aged children.
  • Designed to promote healthy eating and activity habits from an early age.
  • Parents/caregivers join their children in each session.
  • Meet other parents and families in your area and make new friends.
  • Developed by leading experts in the fields of pediatric nutrition, psychology, physical activity, and health.


  • How to deal with challenging behaviors such as picky eating.
  • Take part in parent discussions while your child plays.


  • Spend time playing with your child and learn new games.
  • Ideas to help stay active with your child.


  • Fun ways to introduce new foods and add variety.
  • How to read and understand food labels.

  • Learning to implement change. “Do it!” stands for empowering parents and caregivers to raise a healthy and active child.
